Abstract

This brief article attempts to explain the introduction process that is carried out when the architect is given a work proposal. Although there are different practice methods, drawing always plays a key role as a reflection tool that not only enables ideas to come into life but also raises the necessary questions. Thus, drawing is not conceived as a unique or isolated tool but as a means for shaping a sequencing of continuous transformation that brings about space thoughtful considerations.
Since drawing may also imply a temptation because of the pleasure it entails, it should be taken into account its actual aim and the accuracy needed to attain it. Each one of the design process stages requires a specific type of drawing that involves not only the view of those who work on the project but also the user’s one; the corollary reflecting the reason why first drawings arise.
