Abstract

In order to reassess the influence of Le Corbusier on my own architectural and academic education, my final project as a student is addressed in the face of nine works of outstanding masters and architects of the last century who were my referents. This essay is mainly grounded on the project teaching approach carried out in Rosario’s School of Architecture from 1956 to 1959. This critical and analytical interpretation enables to recognize the diversity of both visible and hidden influences exerted by the above-mentioned works on my final project. It also helps to reveal the comprehensiveness and deepness of the role that Le Corbusier played in the evolution of the architectural production and thinking throughout that period.

Author Biography

Aníbal Moliné, Universidad Católica de Santa Fe, Rosario

Arquitecto y Doctor en Arquitectura desde 2004. Comenzó su trabajo docente en 1957, llegando a ser Profesor Titular Ordinario en las asignaturas Análisis Proyectual I y II, y Proyecto Arquitectónico I, II y III en la FAPyD, labor que cumplió hasta su retiro en 2014. Ha recibido premios por su trabajo profesional y también a través de su trabajo docente en numerosos concursos en los que se ha presentado con sus alumnos. Desarrolla su labor como docente-investigador, habiendo presentado y publicado su producción en libros, revistas y congresos. En el presente es docente y Coordinador Académico de la carrera Arquitectura de la Universidad Católica de Santa Fe en la sede Rosario.
