Author Biographies

Horacio Torrent, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile

Arquitecto (UNR, 1985. Magíster en Arquitectura (PUC.Chile, 2001). Doctor en Arquitectura (UNR, 2006). Profesor, investigador, historiador y crítico de arquitectura. Sus investigaciones sobre los inicios de la arquitectura moderna y la cultura arquitectónica chilena y latinoamericana son de referencia y han sido publicadas en libros, revistas nacionales e internacionales. Profesor Titular de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral (1990-1997). Investigador del CIUNR (1990-2002). Director del CURDIUR (1990 y 1994). Actualmente, Profesor Titular de la Escuela de Arquitectura de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Profesor invitado a programas de postgrado en diferentes universidades en Venezuela, Brasil, México, Argentina, entre otras. Reconocido con el Premio de Investigación en la Bienal Iberoamericana de Arquitectura y Urbanismo, 2006. Miembro de la Society of Architectural Historians, de la Red Latinoamericana Hábitat Moderno y del Executive Committee y del Advisory Board de Docomomo International. Coordinador del Grupo Latinoamericano de la European Architectural History Network y Presidente de Docomomo Chile.

María Carla Berrini, Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina.

Arquitecta (FAPyD-UNR, 2003). Profesora e investigadora en el Área de Historia de la Arquitectura en FAPyD-UNR. Ha cursado estudios de posgrado en la Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Actualmente es doctoranda en Arquitectura en FAPyD-UNR. Autora de capítulos de libros, de artículos publicados en revistas especializadas y de difusión. Participa con ponencias en reuniones científicas en la Argentina y en el exterior. Coordinadora de la edición del libro Libretas de dibujo|Sketchbooks de Gerardo Caballero (2019). Coautora de Apuntes para una Historia Institucional – Colegio de Arquitectos de la Provincia de Santa Fe en 2022. Promotora y coordinadora junto a las Dras. Alejandra Monti y Silvia Dóccola del Acervo|Archivo institucional 100AA  https://cien.fapyd.unr.edu.ar/. Es titular de su estudio de arquitectura, con sede en Rosario (Argentina).

Claudio Javier Solari, Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina.

Arquitecto (UNR, 2000). Graduado del Programa en Arquitectura y Tecnologías (UTDT, 2011) y Magíster en Arquitectura (UNL, 2019). Director de la Carrera de Arquitectura. Profesor Titular e investigador categorizado en el Programa de Incentivos por la UNR. Fue becado por la Universidad de Kassel (2015), por el programa PROFITE del Ministerio de Educación de la Nación Argentina (2015) y por el Programa de Centros Asociados para el Fortalecimiento de Posgrados Brasil/Argentina (2014). Autor de capítulos de libros, de artículos publicados en revistas especializadas y ponencias difundidas en reuniones científicas en la Argentina y en el exterior. Obtuvo el 18° Premio SCA-CPAU de Arquitectura Argentina (2022) en la categoría Ensayos, investigaciones y textos técnicos.
