Abstract

Since the new zones’ urbanization process of Rosario City Metropolitan Area – which is grounded on the pattern of open neighborhoods- a series of questions that allow a critical reading of the present use of historical models has been raised. This paper aims to delve into images, ideas and morphologies applied to the quasi-urban design in order to contrast them with the original models leading to the identification of presences, absences and misunderstandings that result in the non-project for the metropolitan inhabitation.
